Sonia Brakowski, a longtime Hazlet resident now retired and living with her husband in Delaware, endured that loss in 1975 when her beloved ten-year-old daughter Annette died of brain cancer. She recalls in 2007, she met a medium in her native England, who connected her to Annette.“My daughter sent me her messages 32 years after her death. I didn't fully believe in being able to connect with people who had crossed over or in reincarnation, but as I shared in my book, I was blessed to be taught by the spirit of a ten-year-old child, the truth about what happens when we die and that death is not the end.”
