About this ebook
"Caught up in the hubbub of living? Turn to any page in this little book and you'll find yourself reflecting, reassessing, reconsidering and refocusing your energies. (Yes, all of this inspired by just a few words and lines!) Great stocking stuffer for holiday giving, however, the "inspirations" are timeless. Share one in your correspondence." -- P. Anderson

Inspiration - Ruth Marcus
INTRODUCtION
This book began in 2001 as a free, daily inspiration service on the internet. I decided that I wanted to follow Eleanor Roosevelt’s example to live and believe that one person’s life can make a difference.
In considering the immediacy and power of the internet, and its capacity to reach many people in a split second, I decided to commit to writing original, inspirational one-liners.
My plan was to send them to friends, colleagues, and family members every morning, Monday through Friday.
What I didn’t anticipate was the growth of the email list. Recipients found value in the daily inspiration and began sharing it with their friends and family members. Over the course of four years, I have continued to write every morning, and the email list continues to grow.
I am thrilled when people respond with gratitude, humor, and thoughtful comments.
One Memorial day, I wrote and sent the following:
A Day of Remembrance.
Let all soldiers of war, who live and who have died, stand shoulder to shoulder and circle the earth.
Let all victims of war, who live and who have died, stand shoulder to shoulder and circle the earth.
Let all those who have loved these people, who live and who have died, stand shoulder to shoulder and circle the earth.
Let all of us, together, stand shoulder to shoulder and circle the earth remembering the beauty of who we are as our tears cleanse all souls from the past, from the present, from the
