Yes. That is a good question, and one I’ve been meaning to try and answer for some time.

I watch a lot of movies and every now and then something gives away the real height of an actor or actress. Maybe they are leaning up against a car and I can see their height in relation to the top of the car roof. The other night I was watching a rerun of Indecent Proposal and Demi Moore was standing against a lamp shade. Now all tables are a standard height more or less. So I froze the picture and put my hand the same distance above the lamp as her head was in the picture.. Man, that’s small. I looked up her height on Google and it came out as 5 foot 5 inches. Read 5 foot 4 inches because all these web sites lie. And you know what, she’s probably wearing shoe lifters.

It’s not just Demi of course. It’s just that about every actor is a short ass. Sure, there are exceptions, Clint Eastwood is tall and so was John Wayne.
