About this ebook
Some encounters have the magical touch of a wish to grow and learn under the wing of a love like no other that travels eternities and remains imprinted in a soul split in two bodies. In an Irish medieval setup, Aine comes to learn important lessons regarding her personal truth and a way of dealing with her over-sensitive nature. Is she a witch? She may be, and this does not make her existence any easier on the background of the cruel witch hunt. She has to fight her fears in the context of challenging relationships with her best friend and a mysterious man, brought to her little village by strange visions. An entrancing story of personal growth, betrayal and consuming love.

"I am a Romanian living in Italy and writing in English. Through writing, I discovered the best modality of bringing to life an inner world that not even I knew it existed, a world that knows no boundaries, and where everything is possible. Writing is one of the most magical experiences: seemingly, you are alone, but the Spirit of the World is there, by your side, whispering to your heart secrets, which nobody else can hear. It would be such a pity not to listen and share! In the end, this is my way of trying to make a difference, to put myself and others in front of a mirror and make us question, since questioning makes us evolve, change and grow." "Change begets change. Nothing propagates so fast. If a man habituated to a narrow circle of cares and pleasures, out of which he seldom travels, step beyond it, though for never so brief a space, his departure from the monotonous scene on which he has been an actor of importance would seem to be the signal for instant confusion. The mine which Time has slowly dug beneath familiar objects is sprung in an instant; and what was rock before, becomes but sand and dust." (Charles Dickens)

I close my eyes and envision the dark grey sky crying down soft drops of rain. That hushing sound is hypnotic. I am somewhere deep in the forest when I hear him shouting:
Run! Run towards the stone circle! I turn around and start running. An enormous precipice opens a few feet away from the circle, and the turmoil of the waves of the ocean beneath melts in the sound of my heart beats. I have the daunting sensation of being at the end of the world. A huge nothingness surrounds me. I don’t know what happens. Why doesn’t he follow me? Where is he?
Stop tormenting yourself! Maybe there is a logical explanation for all these: you have a sick imagination!
laughed her friend, Enda.
Laugh you may, but I tell you, I feel it very real. It will happen; I’m as sure of it as I am it will rain today.
replied Aine.
"Well, I don’t know anymore how to make you snap out of this…this visionary world you’ve been living in lately. You know the times are not exactly the ideal ones for such confessions. As about raining today… Now you’re scaring me! Can’t you see there is no trace of cloud up there, and the sun is almost killing me if I kept standing here and listening to your nonsense? Let’s go for a walk! I
