YES, You Were Born To Succeed

About this ebook
“Yes you were born to succeed” is a statement in itself, suggesting or claiming that we were all born to succeed. If this be so, then why are so few people much more successful than the rest? Twelve years of intense research and study have gone into answering this question and developing a program for anyone to use - a program that will take them from wherever they are, to where they want to be.
There are thousands of programs available to help you to lose weight, quit smoking, become rich, excel in your studies, and so on, and they may be purchased for just a couple of dollars. Looking at these programs they seem easy to achieve, yet a very, very small percentage of people actually benefit from them. In addition, most people know exactly why they are not successful. For example, every smoker knows that smoking is bad for their health; in fact the very box that contains the cigarettes has a label warning of this risk. Every overweight person knows why they are overweight. Every student knows why they are getting bad grades, and so on. The million dollar question is: if people know this, why do they continue to repeat the same self-defeating patterns that prevent them from achieving success, over and over again? Even worse, they allow their status quo to continuously deteriorate.
This book takes you on a methodical journey of self discovery and self development - a journey that will empower you to progress from wherever you are now to where you want to be. It helps you understand yourself and your limitless potential, and through this understanding, empower you to achieve true success.

B Gangiah started his career digging trenches as an electrical apprentice for a paltry R30 per week. He qualified as an electrician in 1981 and worked his way up through the ranks from electrician, electrical superintendent, maintenance manager to project engineer. He turned his last promotion down as it began to deviate from his goals. “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” Sir Winston Churchill One of his goals was to retire from his profession at 50 and concentrate all his energy on his two main passions, cooking and writing. This happened two years earlier and before turning 50 he managed to purchase one restaurant, open three more and complete the Born to Succeed program. He also authored two poems “Father of the Nation” a dedication to Nelson Mandela and “Where are you Oh Lord”. The “Development of Intellect by Feedback” has been his very own pet project and personally used it extensively over the last 12 years. He owes all his success’s to this technique and guarantees anyone choosing and sincerely running with it to realise their own dreams and goals. He lives up to an ideal, that success is a choice. “If you don't have the power to change yourself, then nothing will change around you.” - Anwar Sadat Although the book and course is authored by B Gangiah, he does not claim ownership of it but admits it was made possible by all the books he has read and mainly the people he has been intimately associated with. He has been a collector of quotes since a young man and claims that although a picture paints a thousand words, a quote say’s a million. “One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching.” Unknown Success, It’s your choice

About the Author
Introduction
"One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it’s worth watching." Unknown
Your life story is made up of an approximately eighty page book. Each page projects a year in your life. Your age is the number of the page you are writing now. How many pages have you filled in and how many pages do you have left? The pages you have written only tell us where you came from. The coming pages will tell us where you want to go and when you will get there. You cannot change the contents of the pages filled in, you do not know if you will be able to fill in all of the remaining pages, but you can choose to make your future how you want it to be.
"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending." Maria Robinson
Every page filled in from now on must be as you choose it to be. You must bring your dreams and aspirations into reality. If you do not know where you are going, any road you are on is good enough. If you know where you want to go, the right road alone may not be good enough, you must still equip yourself to get there. You may have got to where you are by chance, the problem with chance is that it could go either way. Losers exist with regret, while winners live with the inspiration and fulfilment of doing and achieving. When you find inspiration and fulfilment in all that you do, your days become better. Better days make better weeks, better weeks make better months, better months make better years and better years leads to an exceptional life.
"Life is not just the passing of time, but the collection of experiences, their frequency and their intensity." Bill Bailey
Yes, you were born to succeed
takes you through a methodical journey of self discovery and self development, which will empower you to take you from where you are to where you want to be. It essentially revolves around the formula:
Success = Health + Happiness + Wealth
It firstly helps you understand yourself and your limitless potential and in its understanding, empower you to achieve true success. Most individuals limit themselves based on the fact that they were not able to get a good education, were not supported by their parents, came from a poor environment, do not have the time to make it, are not lucky enough, are never at the right place at the right time, never got a chance, were treated unfairly and so on.
"Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start." Nido Qubein
In fact some of the greatest success stories, as you will read in the presiding chapters, are of people that did not have a good education, did not have any money to start with, did not have anyone to support them, but turned out to be very successful and died as legends that will forever be spoken of and remembered.
"Everyone has a burden. What counts is how you carry it" Merle Miller
If you examine people around you, you will certainly find people from disadvantaged backgrounds, people less educated than you, less gifted than you, have a lesser degree of communication or business skills than you, but are more successful than you. How is this so?
"It’s not what happens to you that determines how far you will go in life, it is how you handle what happens to you." Zig Ziglar
The fact that you have acquired this book clearly indicates that you want to succeed, you want to change and you want to discover your hidden potential that will take you to where you want to be. You will have the tools to equip you to be the most unique individual in whatever role you play. Yes, you will become success itself. You have one life, why not choose to live it successfully?
1. Yes You Were Born To Succeed
Why is it that some people are far more successful than others? They are highly disciplined, have everlasting relationships, are always happy, have an ability to accumulate wealth, eat the right foods, exercise regularly, are as healthy as can be, have an abundance of friends, always have time for leisure, spend abundant quality time with their families, excel in their studies, sport, careers and businesses.
What are the likes and dislikes of successful people? They have the exact same likes and dislikes that unsuccessful people have, but successful people avoid likes that are obstacles to their success and at the same time take up dislikes that accelerate their journey to success. Take a moment and analyse your likes and dislikes. You will come to a stunning conclusion that most likes are bad for you and most dislikes are good for you. Successful people understand this fact and just do something about it. Success is freedom but failure comes at a cost.
"What it lies in our power to do, it lies in our power not to do." Aristotle
Close your eyes for a minute, let your imagination run free, do not restrict your imagination. Imagine yourself being very, very, very successful. Imagine you can have anything you want, what will it be? Once you have captured yourself being extremely successful, hold that picture in your mind and as we go along reflect upon it.
Now, let’s investigate your imagination. Did you imagine yourself being very rich, or very healthy, or very happy, or a combination of two or all three?
"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions." Albert Einstein
Try this simple experiment; sit in an upright position, put your forehand onto the bottom of your spine, then move it up between your shoulder blades and push as high as you can. Now hold it there and count to 30. How does it feel? Yes painful, in a few parts of your arm, especially your shoulders. Why do you think this is so? It is because this is not the natural or original position of your arm. Now gently let go and bring your arm to its original posture. Now that your arm is back in its original position, you find that the feeling in your arm goes from painful to painless, from discomfort to comfort, from uneasiness to easiness. So it is with you. You go through anger, stress, laziness, envy, arrogance, depression, debt, illness, and so on. Why is this so? It is because you have not yet reached a state of true success. True success as a human being is your original state. Your original state or essential nature, if you may, must have the combination of good health, happiness and sufficient wealth to give you the necessary comforts for human existence. Until you achieve this state, remember the experiment with your arm, you will always feel the pain, the discomfort and the uneasiness.
You may have been conditioned to be what you are, but that means you can also condition yourself to be who you want to be
Blair Singer
Yes, you have conditioned yourself away from your original nature.
