    INTRODUCTION

    According to recent estimates by the World Health Organization in the world there are 450 million people who suffer from mental, neurological or behavioral, and that most of these disorders are neither diagnosed nor treated. There is no absolute dividing line between health and mental illness. There are four different mental conditions that a person may encounter in the course of life:

    - Mental health:

    is the condition in which we live where there is a high level of satisfaction of needs, together with a satisfactory quality of life: balance, serenity, tranquility, acceptance of one's individual and social status, but also curiosity and initiative that characterize condition. It certainly is not a state that is achieved once and for all and for all the same: Amid changing situations of life, mental well-being is the goal toward which the individual tends constantly;

    - Mental illness:

    is the condition in which you live when you feel a lot of pain, related to difficulties of various kinds (in the affections, work, etc..) does occur in life. Tension, frustration, aggression or sadness characterize this condition, but not for the establishment of any specific symptom. You should keep in mind that, along with the condition of well-being, a quota of discomfort is an integral part of all existence;

    - Disorder or mental illness:

    is the condition in which the subject experiences when not located resolution to suffering in which they are placed by uncomfortable condition, i.e. when it reaches very high levels of intensity. We move from discomfort when the disorder is accompanied by intense prolonged suffering or mental disorders or behavior. Suffering becomes clinical, that arise specific psychiatric symptoms: delusions, hallucinations, obsessions, etc.. Although the condition of mental disorder does not fit into normal life, all in special situations, we may incur in this condition. The condition of disorder may be temporary if treated effectively and in a timely manner;

    - Mental disorder stabilized:

    is the condition in which the subject experiences when the disorder becomes chronic: therefore, persist over time not only alterations in mental or behavior, but also the situation that has certain. Very often the disorder is stable for not being treated or have been treated badly.

    The four conditions that we have outlined constitute the frame of reference within which to be reviewed and placed the traditional concepts of illness and mental health. In fact, modern psychiatry sees clearly false and dangerous idea widely in the usual sense, that divides the human mind into only two possible states, the state of healthy and diseased state. In fact, what we call a normal existence, also includes conditions of hardship, which can lead to real problems. It is always subtle and gradual steps, often reversible. Each of us passes continuously between the first and the second condition, from wellbeing to discomfort and vice versa; someone may be in the third condition, i.e. be subject to specific disorders; someone can finally stabilize at a certain disorder, placing itself in a condition of difficulty of reversing. It is clear that the idea that some theories reject is the result of a further interference, which we call a Manichean, or black and white: the tendency to divide the world into two parts, sickness and health, crazy and normal. One way of looking at things seemingly simple, obviously primitive, certainly harmful.

    The term psycho-therapy, comes from the greek psyche (soul,
