I was born on a cold October day in 1975. Born into a poor family, I had little, but needed for nothing. My love for words became apparent to my family at a young age, when I took to reading, and always had to have a book. This love for books continued on, and soon I was putting my own words to paper. I was always a fan of creative writing, and often impressed my grade school teachers with my fantastic stories. At the age of 15, I wrote a poem called "Abused" for a grade 9 poetry assignment. I assure you I wasn't abused as a child, but the power ofthe poem brought the adminstration of the school to the class room with a barrage of questions. After assuring them I was taken care of, they praised my work. four years later I entered a contest sponsored by the Canadian Chamber of Contemporary Poetry. Of thousands of contestants, i was in the top 200, and had my poem "Bob" published in thier anthology " Scaling the Face of Reason". This was my first true accomplishement, and my first published work. Since then I have been writing, and Have had a few articles and a poem entitled " A Letter to my Unborn Child" published by Parents for Parents Magazine. I currently live with wife, Jocelyn, and our two children Julian And Adora. I am still writing, and trying to get published. I have 3 children's books that I have written, and am currently shopping these to publishers. I also have written a coffee table book, which I too am shopping, and am currently working on a fantasy novel. While working on this projects, I still have a blog i contribute to and i write for Arts East as well. I have recently entered into the field of Epublishing, and just published my first book, "The Common Man's Guide to Women as told by the Common Man

Introduction

Well first off, thank you for buying my book. I assume since you bought it you’re one of two people: A common man looking for answers, or a woman who is afraid we have the answers, and is trying to find out what we know. Either way, you’re both welcome to read on. Those of you who bought this book, will notice there is no PhD. Beside my name. That’s because I am not a doctor, although I almost played one on TV. I’m not famous (not yet anyway), I’m just a common man, who over the 37 years that spans my life, have been an avid observer of women and how they so easily manipulate us men. I write this book not as a medical text, or even as a self-help book. I write this for a candid and humorously lighthearted look at womankind. Its sole purpose is to mildly educate, and greatly entertain those who read it. Hopefully, it can help keep a few more men off the couch as well. I encourage couples to read it together, because there will be parts that you both will say hey, that true!!, or the women will say, You better listen to that man. Anyway, this book is meant essentially to encourage men to understand the most beautiful, greatest (and fiercest ) creature on earth, and for the women, they’ll see they do some things they don’t even realize they’re doing. (And they quite possibly may get a new and improved man out of it too) So sit back, relax, and let’s explore the mystery that is womankind.

Since the dawn of time, men have looked for ways to attract the fairer sex. We have come a long way since the caveman days, of clubbing a woman over the head and dragging her home by the
