About this ebook

Christian Cole is now dealing with the consequences of his actions, and the choice he has made - to be infected by the Phantasia virus and become an angel, so he could have his way with a pack of werewolves - or rather, let them have their way with him. But now, he has to come to terms with his new wings, and his new abilities.

And at the same time, he has to deal with the dynamics of his new pack. As much as he loves Randy, there are the things about the man that he wishes he could change, and Greg is still uncertain about the idea of sharing his own mate, Mike.

But when a rival pack kidnaps Christian and steals him away, intent on using him during the next full-moon sexual frenzy, can his own pack rescue him? Or will he be thrown to the wolves?

    Chapter 1

Christian awoke in stages. First, he was aware of his mouth. It was dry and cottony, and his tongue felt like a thick slab of jerky as it pressed against the roof of his mouth. The world was bathed in blackness, until he opened his eyes. They were gummy and red, and stung slightly as he looked around, trying to remember where he was.

As his brain began to build a picture of his surroundings, he was aware of an intense, burning pain between his shoulder blades. He was almost thankful for that pain, for it drew his attention away from his poor, abused ass. He’d been taken last night by no less than three werewolves, and he still felt the results of every inch of their thick cocks buried inside him. They’d been huge, and he’d been spread very wide indeed by them all.

But now, the pain that he was forced to focus on was the one in his back. He knew what was happening. It was the metamorphosis.

Christian had read the pamphlets and seen the bulletins on what happens to angels, when they’re first infected, so he knew what was coming, and he wasn’t alarmed. But he wasn’t exactly looking forward to it. Over the next week or so, he would painfully sprout wings from his back – full, feathered bird wings. And then he would be one of those so-called angels that the Phantasia virus was so busy making.

It was extraordinary to think about, and he still could hardly believe that he’d made the decision to become infected. But he had done it, and done it so he could have Randy. As each day went by, he found himself increasingly smitten by the man. Randy had a face that could make any boy or girl melt, with his high, Native American cheek bones, his bronze skin, and his dark, mysterious eyes. And his body... it was muscular, raw and chiseled. Thinking about him actually brought Christian away from the pain for a few moments.

But only a few moments. He doubled over on the small bed that Mike and Greg had put there for him, trying to will the stabbing hurt away from him. It was no use.

He glanced up when he heard a door open. Speak of the devil – it was Randy himself. The man brusquely walked up to the bed, and shoved something in Christian’s hand. Eat this, he commanded, and the younger man obeyed.

He glanced at the item before popping it in his mouth. It looked like a piece of fudge, and he was perplexed as to why Randy wanted him to eat candy at a time like this. As he chewed though, a strange herbal, almost grassy flavor filled his mouth, he realized this was no ordinary piece of fudge. It was laced with THC.

The pot fudge was a miracle worker. In just minutes, Christian found himself relaxing, the pain melting away from his body. Randy held his hand those few minutes, making certain that the boy was all right. When Christian uttered a moan of relief, Randy stood, throwing a bag on a nearby desk.

There’s more in the bag, he said roughly. Don’t eat one more than every four hours, got it?

Yes, sir, Christian said dreamily, staring at the ceiling tiles. It looked like the reverse of the night sky, with expansive white and little black dots, instead of the opposite. It was fascinating.

Randy kicked him with a foot, slowly pulling Christian back to reality. He blearily lifted his head, watching the man. Don’t go anywhere, Randy warned. "We brought some stuff here for you to use. Your laptop, your 3DS, some books… Mike lent you a 3G dongle so you can surf the net, and there’s food in the fridge in the next room. But don’t go out. Got it?"

    Christian nodded, hardly paying attention.

Shit, what have I gotten myself into, Randy muttered as he left the room. Christian was alone again, but this time it was all right. He felt utterly groovy. He stared at the ceiling for many long moments, trying to count the inverse stars in the plaster sky, but he soon lost count. Instead, he rolled over and pulled his 3DS out of the bag on the desk, and stared at that for a while. Playing a game was impossible in his state; he only contemplated how there could be a window to such a tiny little world in his hands.

Eventually, he slept, the hand held console resting on his chest.

    *****

When Christian awoke, he found himself in the fresh flower of more pain. He jolted upright, causing the 3DS to clatter onto the ground, and he cursed. Even in his state, he knew he could ill afford to replace it.

    The pot candy.

He needed some more. Hunched over, he turned in the bed and blindly groped for the little plastic bag. There were several pieces of fudge in the wrapper, and Christian desperately wanted to eat them all, but he remembered Randy’s warning at the last moment, and restrained himself to a single piece. After he chewed the noxious combination of grass and chocolate down, he bent over double, rocking his body back and forth, willing the THC to do its magic.

It took a few minutes, but it worked. The pain lessened. It didn’t quite vanish, but it did seem… less important.

What was important was that Christian was famished. He shakily got to his feet, and toddled over to the next room, another dusty white office, but with a mini fridge in it. He yanked on the door, pulling it open, and surveyed the tiny interior. There wasn’t much. A few cans of soda, one of which he grabbed, and some lunchmeat and cheese.

This simply wasn’t acceptable. The one time Christian got high before, he craved fast food, tacos to be precise, and he found that craving rising again. Surely it wouldn’t hurt to go out to Taco Bell, and get a chalupa?

Christian floated dreamily back to the office where the bed was, and managed to find some clothes. He idly wondered why he was naked in the first place, and then realized that the guys must have undressed him when they put him to bed. He wondered if they did anything else to him. The very thought made him a little aroused, but he had more important things on his mind, at the moment.

Clothes applied, he tried to remember his way out of this strange office area. He vaguely recalled the fact that he was in a foreman’s office, inside a larger warehouse, so he wasn’t totally shocked when he stepped out of the building only to find another building. He did laugh at the absurdity of it, however.
