Tammy Lee Morris lives on a farm in southern Illinois where she finds inspiration in the most mundane of things. Don't let the farm life fool you though, she has a wicked sense of humor and can find a bit of darkness in anything. One of her short stories was inspired by real-life events from her farm, which has been in the family for many years. The owner who sold the farm to her grandfather over 50 years ago was a local undertaker who used to bury his unused (at least it is hoped they were unused) caskets on the farm property. Growing up, Tammy Lee made up creepy tales about the ghosts that could haunt the farm and her vivid imagination has served her well as a writer.
