April 7th - My name is Artemis Jeffery. You don’t need to know my last name. My friends call me Jeff. People with broken arms have called me Artemis. My last job almost drove me to drink, so my therapist said that I should write a few paragraphs a day in order to gain perspective. She said it would be therapeutic. You’d figure that from a therapist. Anyway, since it’s my job that’s caused this, I guess I should talk about that, huh.

Most people would call me a mercenary. Not the kind that fights for money, though I’ll do that if the price is right. I’m the kind that does whatever sounds good for cash. I’m one of the best. Actually, I prefer to call myself a Procurer of Goods and Services and Relationship Counselor.

If someone wants a good or service, I get it for them. If they have someone that needs counseling, I generally try threats first. When those don’t work, I prefer subtle things, like little razor cuts in strategic places, or tiny fractures. It all costs money, but then what doesn’t. Heck, I have a lifestyle to maintain and retirement to plan someday.
