Tina Jeffries looked again at the invitation.

It was printed on heavy stock. Her name had been embossed on the front cover in gold script. It even smelled faintly of vanilla. It read: You are cordially invited...

And it had come with a box. Tina hadn’t known what she’d find inside, but she didn’t expect the outfit.

The slim black corset was just her size, if she held her breath. Tina had loosened the laces somewhat, but its boning still held her tight. Tina tried her best to stay in shape, but the corset’s cinched waist sculpted her lean middle further and made her look more like an hourglass than any fitness video regimen ever had.
