    In 1987, my sister asked me to write a Christmas poem. I didn't consider myself to be a poet, but since I was studying journalism I decided to give it a try. She must have liked it because the next year she asked me to do it again. Over the past 25 years it has become a holiday tradition in our family. These poems have been included in my Christmas cards and have developed a small following among family and friends. Many times I've been asked to put them all together and publish them in one place. Because of ebook formatting, I have to designate a chapter for each poem. As I look back, that seems
