A regular Saturday nights work for Jack involves stalking London's west end and cleaning the streets of the 'human garbage' who roam there, and he takes great pride in his work.
As Jack goes through his regular Saturday night shift in the West End he bitterly describes his distaste for everything and everyone around him as he carries out his duties.
After tooling himself up with supplies and a little mindless violence he has a successful start to his night but full of confidence he decides to savor the chance to live it up in one of his clientele's homes in Notting Hill.
After discovering a sleeping pregnant woman in the house Jack forgets his professional attitude for one night and falls asleep on the job, waking up to disastrous consequences and Jacks first ever moral dilemma.
The Comfort Zone is dark and disturbing, contains horrific descriptions of murder and scenes of an aggressive sexual nature.

The Comfort Zone

The sky was pouring down as usual on Tottenham Court Road last Friday night. The worker man operating the gate to the underground station closed it promptly at twelve fifty two, as he always did on a Friday night. Jack was on the last southbound train and the last traveller to exit the station. He pulled his hood up over his head to shield it from the dirty rain as the underground guy slammed his gate shut. Jack’s black hoodie with the zip down the middle was Primark bought, as were his trousers and underwear, his whole outfit was Primark bought, all except his usual plain black t-shirt, which was Primark swiped. Jack was normal looking, nothing special. He had a shaved head but didn’t look menacing. He was quiet and generally a good lad, but not when he was around Tottenham Court Road on a Friday night. It may have been getting quite late but Jack’s night was just beginning, he decided to kick it off with a hotdog, which he consumed under the giant Freddy Mercury statue outside the Dominion Theatre.
