This book was written out of the desire to see productivity within our groups, churches, businesses and ultimately our lives. Even though the book may be very strong in musical content, it also applies to different parts of our daily lives and routines. We should always continue to search our hearts and minds to become a better me. The Key To B#
means just that. On the piano the key of B# is technically the key of C or C major. So the concept is in order for you to B# you have to C major. In our lives, our ability to be sharp at what we do will entitle us to see major visions and produce growth and stability. Our creator has given us the knowledge and resources to be the best in our purpose and calling. I admonish you in this book to know who you are. Your strengths will help you to succeed. Surrounding yourselves with people who can help to make your weaknesses shine will help to make you a more productive leader. Always remember to B# so you can C Major.

How you Rule
Let me start this chapter by saying that we are created to worship God in and through the vision of a man. Now I know that’s a strong statement to start with and maybe you’re saying WOW. So can I say more?
Lucifer was created, and I want to emphasize the word CREATED, to worship God based on the premise of God himself wanting to be worshipped in a certain way and with a certain style. He already had or should I say have (because he’s never pass tense) in mind a setup for how that was to happen. He creates Lucifer as one or perhaps the greatest angel ever to be created. He creates him with a WILL to worship. He was never created to be a robot. This was not a situation to where God has a controller moving Lucifer around like a remote control car. He had a choice, which is why later iniquity was found in his heart. God then assigns all the heavenly host of angels to be under his leadership with their assignments. The cherubims and seraphims and the rest of the host has a part to play in how God is to be worshipped.
God have always had a desire to be worshipped without him having to do the initiating. He’s never had a desire to make us worship him. You know how it is when you’re in a relationship and love it when your wife or husband or girlfriend or boyfriend tells you I love you baby
and you say where did that come from and she says, It came from nowhere, I said it just because I do
. Now you know that can give you goose bumps just to know that you didn’t have to do anything to get an I love you. Not a flower, not a card, not a gift but just BECAUSE. That is the purpose of our very existence. Your worship should be a JUST BECAUSE worship. We are created to tell him how much we love him. How awesome he is. How mighty he is. How he’s my king, my Lord, the holy one, lion of Judah, the great I am, rose of Sharon, lily in the valley, doctor, lawyer, healer, mountain mover and so on. There are not enough words that could ever describe who He is. And so it was the job of Lucifer to worship him 24 hours a day and seven days a week, as we know it, because before Adam there was no time in existence to start or stop worshipping him. It is still so today. Even though we have a set time in our churches to worship, our worship should never be limited to that. As Lucifer worships God and pays attention to God’s every move. How He operates, how He delegates, how He creates, Lucifer now decides that because he has followers that he THINKS he can now operate, delegate and create. He now wants the same gratification that God gets from worship. So he then seeks out among the worshippers to see who will follow him. He convinced a third of the angels to follow him. I found it amazing that that even though he convinced a third to follow him, two thirds made he decision to NOT follow him, which says that they all had a will or a decision to follow or not follow. The word tells us to choose ye this day whom you will serve. You also have the will to choose. He’s then removed from his post as the worship leader or as we like to say, kicked out of heaven.
The Void of Worship
The void of worship has now been broken and now here comes Adam. Created with the assignment to fulfill God’s vision of what worship is to be and look like. God’s vision of worship now comes through a man. He tells Adam, I give you the authority over the fish of the sea and the fowl of the air. The land and everything that exists and how you rule says how you worship. And we know that because of sin, Satan is still trying to convince man to follow or worship him instead of Christ. This is where our pastors and leaders now come in. They impart into us the tools that we need to help take the blinders off. Sin seeks to blind us but the word seeks to find us. They now have the assignment to usher us back to that place of worship. They have been given a vision from God on how that is to happen according to the assignment that has been given to them. It is because of the vision given by God that God then places people with gifts and talents that must be connected to a vision in order to complete the assignment of worship for a particular pastor and ministry which now goes back to my opening statement. We are created to worship God through the vision of a man that he has assigned to our lives. The question you must now ask yourself, Who have God placed me with?
Lucifer was a living, walking talking, breathing instrument of praise and worship. He was all music was created for that reason. Can you imagine what Lucifer sounded like if God created him personally? I sometimes look up in the clear sky and try to imagine them full of angels singing and worship God and what that must have sound like. I’m getting chills while sitting here typing this. What was God’s music, what his compositions and arrangements sound like, the instruments, the harmonies. WOW is all I can say. I think about songs that make me move and feel a certain way knowing that it can’t even be compared to a song of the LORD. Our flesh can’t contain all of God but our spirits leap for joy. Music is so powerful and God intended for it to be that way. The largest book in the bible is considered music. Go figure.
The relationship between man and music
My goal is to focus on the ability of all pastors, musicians, singers and worship leaders to cause relationships to flourish. The reality is that music comes from places of triumph, mediocrity, delusions, imaginations, pains and so on. Music penetrates the heart, mind, body and soul while at the same time makes one happy, sad, content and even inspired. Music can cause a gamma of emotions. My experiences as a musician/worship leader have gone through many of these stages.
Music fills the courts of heaven as heavenly beings praise our Lord and Creator. When God created the world, the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy (Job 38:7). God created man in His own image, to be an instrument of praise. He gave humans the ability to sing and to make music with musical instruments to complement the voice. So this gives us somewhat of a picture of the music and musician (man).
In the beginning Lucifer
Lucifer is a fallen angel who was the head of the music department when he was in heaven. He was the most beautiful of ALL angels and he was the director of music (Praise and Worship). Ezekiel 28:13
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God: every precious stone was they covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emarld, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou was created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou was upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
The previous verses talks about the precious stones and instruments that were created in him. But of course, now he’s no longer known as Lucifer (the morning star or the enlightened one). But there are several scriptural references throughout the bible that denote his previous authority over music when he was in heaven. One is Isa.14: 11 – Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
This verse here is speaking of his fall from heaven, and how all of the glory he had, and the gifts he had fell with him. The noise of thy viols indicates the stringed instruments he had charge over. But yes, actually throughout the bible in passages in the books of Ezekiel, Job, Isaiah, even Psalms upon speaking of his past life…it tells us he was the minister of music there.
Lucifer means morning star or the enlightened one.
Job 38:7 – When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy
Lucifer was basically a walking talking musical instrument.
Ezekiel 28; 14-16
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering CHERUB, from the midst of the stones of fire.
These were the same words that were spoken of Lucifer in
Isaiah 14:11-14 (11 All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the NOISE OF YOUR HARPS; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you.)-(New International Version)
King James Version
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee
