    Migraine has become a dreaded word for the thousands of sufferers all over the world. It is a disease that can put you out of action for a couple of hours or for a couple of days. Because of this it has an enormous effect on the economies of the world. There is no definite cure for these debilitating headaches and science has not yet proved what the exact cause is.

    I have made a study of the remedies and realise that unless you want to become a victim of the cure as well, you need to start becoming pro active and investigate for yourself what it is that triggers off your attacks.

    It is no good taking drugs to get relief from pain and with each attack you require stronger drugs. In the end the drugs will be just such a problem as the migraine. By taking authority over your condition you can start keeping a diary of the events just before the attack started. Write down what you ate that day, how you felt emotionally just before the headache started, were you over tired, stressed, or angered.

    With time you will have a pattern of events and you will be able to see which emotions contributed to your attack. You will be able to sense which types of food you eat that seem to trigger off an attack. With this information in hand you can then begin to eliminate food types one at a time and see if there is any improvement in your condition. This might be a slow process, but it will be a sure way and you will be able to control your well being without turning constantly to chemical substances for
