Chuck tapped the instrument panel of the twin-engine Cessna with his finger. He didn’t really think it would change the reading but he had to try. The fuel gauge was much lower than it should have been and he would have to find a place to land soon. The problem was that there was no place at all to land. He was flying over an ocean.

He set the throttle as low as he possibly could while staying aloft and the plane gradually lost
