Excuse me Mistress Fantasia. Salo said to the librarian.

What can I do for you Mr. Salo? Fantasia asked the second year student.

Wolf Shadow and me where having an argument…. Salo was saying when Mistress Fantasia interrupted him.

    It’s Aphros and I.

What about you and Wolf Shadow? Salo asked dumbfounded.

The statement you made was incorrect. The correct way to state it is Wolf Shadow and I. Now please continue. Fantasia said.

Well we were arguing about who was stronger, Apollo or Ares. We were wondering if there’s any record of a battle between the two of them.

Yes, I have just what you’re looking for.

With every new piece of the puzzle a greater picture is formed and with it a greater insight is gained.

CHAPTER I:MEET ME IN MY DREAMS

As Stanley walked up the stairs to the train he wondered if his metro card had expired. He quickly checked it and confirmed it had. Since Stanley had a few minutes before his train he decided to smoke a cigarette. Stanley casually walked over to the automatic machine to buy a new card. Once Stanley had his new card in hand he walked back outside to finish his cigarette. Stanley looked down the stairs to find a couple that had not been there as he arrived, but their stance suggested that they had been there all day. Stanley wondered if his preoccupation with his metro card had blocked them from his vision. He took a closer look at the couple and realized he didn't know either of them, so it wasn't anything either way. So Stanley pushed it from his mind and continued to enjoy his smoke. Suddenly the couple's conversation began to grow in volume. Stanley tried not to listen, but the Reporter in him just couldn’t help it. After ten years of eating off the secrets people didn’t want known publicly, snooping had become second nature.

Please don't leave me! The woman sobbed.

Our time is over, I've achieved my destiny. I am now bounded to a new task. the jerk replied coldly.

What you trying to say? Getting me pregnant was just a job. Now that I’m as big as a house it's quitting time? The woman said in a state of shock and confusion. That’s exactly what I’m saying, but fear not. The child shall have a father. He will watch over the two of you. Even now he's watching over you, even though he doesn't know it himself. The man said as he looked up into Stanley's eyes. Stanley wanted to run, but his body wouldn't comply. He stood there frozen in spite of himself.

She'll be yours soon enough. When the due time arrives she will bring you all her woes. For now go on your way and enjoy peace for the little time you have left. saying that the man broke his gaze and Stanley was once again able to move. Stanley wanted to run for his life, but the man's words rang in his heart. Out of nowhere a desire to run to the woman's aide struck him. Finally the woman turned and faced Stanley. Their eyes meet as a tear rolled from her left eye. As Stanley gazed into those forget me not blue eyes his decision was made. Stanley ran to grab the guy, but he vanished before Stanley’s eyes.

What the hell is going on here!? Stanley demanded to know as he turned to face the woman, but she too was no longer there.

As Stanley tried to grasp the situation he suddenly awoke in his bed, dripping wet from sweat with the man’s words ringing in his head.

The next morning Stanley couldn’t get that dream out of his mind. He absent mindedly rubbed The pendent around his neck. Stanley caught himself doing it and inwardly cursed himself as he snatched his hand away in sudden ager. He only did this when his inner eye saw grave danger on the rise. And his eye was never wrong. To make things worse he felt this one would be the end. However As he got ready for work the woman’s face dwelled in his mind. As Stanley stood shaving in front of the bathroom mirror he looked over at the clock on the wall and realized he was late for work. (For the second time this week Stanley was late, and it was only Tuesday.) Stanley was going to have to sneak in the back way again. He quickly finished dressing and ran to his car. Stanley made it to work in ten minutes flat. As he entered the office by way of the rear door by the copier, Stanley realized he had used the entrance once too many times. Mr. Litemon his boss was standing there waiting for him, and he didn’t look like he was about to give Stanley another award. The only time Stanley seen such a mixture of anger and glee was on his foster fathers face the day he kicked him out.

You’re lucky I need you right now! If I didn’t I would kick your stupid behind into the street. Now get your dumb behind in my office. Mr. Litemon said. Stanley walked as proudly as he could under the weight of his peers and rivals gaze. The first group shyly turned away. They were on his side, but Stanley was dead wrong. The latter group emerged themselves in the walk of shame of the King. They took this as a measure of pay back for all the times Stanley scooped them or gained points for pointing out their errors to the boss. Now Stanley was facing the business end of Mr. Litemon's whip. Stanley quietly followed in the wake of his boss's rage. Mr. Litemon stood holding the door as they entered his office.

Stanley felt as if he was being sent to the principal's office for hitting a teacher with yet another spit ball, as Stanley flopped into the chair in front of Mr. Litemon’s desk. Mr.
