This is two books of a 3 part series - Three prayer ambassadors (Shirley, Mercy and Goodness) are sent to earth by Gabriel with assignments to answer prayers and it is to be done before Christmas. The first story is set in Seattle and involves three different scenerios with Leah, a childless nurse who works as a delivery room nurse; Monica is a preacher's daughter whose father wants her to marry the choir director, but she is more interested in Chet, a not so conservative member of the CIA instead and the last prayer is 9-year old Timmy who wants a father after his father has been missing in Germany and presumed dead for most of his entire life. A light reading and fun filled with the antics of the three angel ambassadors as they try to "help."The second part contains the same ambassador angels, Shirley, Goodness and Mercy. They are sent to New York this time to answer the prayers of Brynn Cassidy, a high school teacher who prays that her class could see beyond their troubles and reach for the stars. Goodness is sent to answer Hannah Morganstern's prayer. Her family owns a deli. She becomes engages to the family loved "Carl", but is in love with Joshua, an attorney she meets on the day of the Thanksgiving day parade. Jenny Lancaster is a broadway aspiring singer/acter, but has never been successful. Trey comes from her home in Montana to visit for Christmas, and she realizes she is in love with him, not the broadway scene.
