    This is a historical fiction book. This book is about a boy names Stanley who got flattened by a board one night so he is permanently flat! This specific book is about a trip that his family and him take to Mount Rushmore. While they are there, him and his brother meet a cowgirl named Calamity Jasper. Calamity takes them to a gold mine and they are determine to find gold but encounter many problems along the way.

    I loved this book. I'm in first grade. I got an advanced copy from Harper Collins. Stanley is such an awesome character. I recommend this book.

Sleeping bags? George Lambchop called out to his wife, Harriet.

Check! answered Mrs. Lambchop. Wholesome snacks for the boys?

The Lambchop family was preparing for their vacation to Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills of South Dakota. They were each very excited about the adventure.
