About this audiobook

The sequel to the New York Times bestseller Every Day, now a major motion picture starring Angourie Rice.

Every day a new body. Every day a new life. Every day a new choice.

For as long as A can remember, life has meant waking up in a different person's body every day, forced to live as that person until the day ended. A always thought there wasn't anyone else who had a life like this.

But A was wrong. There are others.

A has already been wrestling with powerful feelings of love and loneliness. Now comes an understanding of the extremes that love and loneliness can lead to -- and what it's like to discover that you are not alone in the world.

In Someday, David Levithan takes readers further into the lives of A, Rhiannon, Nathan, and the person they may think they know as Reverend Poole, exploring more deeply the questions at the core of Every Day and Another Day: What is a soul? And what makes us human?

Praise for Every Day:

"A story that is always alluring, oftentimes humorous and much like love itself-- splendorous." --Los Angeles Times

"Wise, wildly unique." --EW

So I got the philosophical musings out of my head with the first book, and this one became about the struggles A faces. Can A stop X? It didn't occur to me that A might empathize with X, but I think part of that is because we see inside X's head and not just what X is presenting (somewhat persuasively). I admit I was a bit worried for a while, but things worked out and came together and it was good, even though the perfect happy ending just couldn't happen.

I was excited to get this book from Amazon Vine to review because I absolutely loved “Every Day”. I was pretty disappointed in “Another Day” and was hoping this book would do a better job of summing up A’s story. I read the first 100 pages of this and remembered why I gave the 2nd book in this series such a low rating. While the initial idea behind 'A' was amazing, the story wasn't going anywhere special.

This book moves very slowly and jumps between Nathan, 'A', 'X', 'M', and Rhiannon. I still liked reading the parts by 'A' and I still found Rhiannon annoying. All the different POVs made the story move really slow and I was completely uninterested in what was going on. I really struggled to stay focused and engaged with this story and finally decided to stop reading this.

Overall this wasn’t nearly as good as “Every Day”. However, if you loved “Another Day” you will probably enjoy this third book as well. If you thought the 2nd book was mediocre, I think you will think the same about this one.
