I absolutely hated this book. The injury to Cadence was the foremost in the book and actually happened. The convoluted story goes on and on. Boring anecdotes within the family are mixed in. I saw no point in the family’s tales. Then we find out what the story was and tragedy
Oh well. Thank goodness it’s over. But it’s not! Just the inevitable life goes on?
