About this audiobook
Pip is about to head to college, but she is still haunted by the way her last investigation ended. She’s used to online death threats in the wake of her viral true-crime podcast, but she can’t help noticing an anonymous person who keeps asking her: Who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears?
Soon the threats escalate and Pip realizes that someone is following her in real life. When she starts to find connections between her stalker and a local serial killer caught six years ago, she wonders if maybe the wrong man is behind bars.
Police refuse to act, so Pip has only one choice: find the suspect herself—or be the next victim. As the deadly game plays out, Pip discovers that everything in her small town is coming full circle . . .and if she doesn’t find the answers, this time she will be the one who disappears. . .

The ending of The Good Girl's Guide to Murder series follows Pip as she tries to deal with the aftermath of witnessing a murder. Pip is struggling with the consequences of what her original podcast uncovered. As she spirals, she takes on another case, to solve the mystery of the DT killer. She believes she has a stalker, but the police don't take her seriously, so she realizes that she has to take matters into her own hands.
Pip is a strong protagonist, and Jackson does a great job of showing the mental toll that these murders in her town affect her. However, I thought that the critical scene and involvement of her friends was not necessarily something a teen would be able to plan. But, it was necessary for the conclusion.
Great series! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

This is the third and final book in the girls guide to murder. I loved book one, two was entertaining, but I’m really annoyed with Book 3. They give Pip drug problem. Barely a drug problem. She just really needs to sleep, and she needs the chemical enhancement to do it. She’s not doing well after the events of book 2. She needs one more, one more true crime to solve and get it out of her system. She set out to solve one murder, but ends up falling down the rabbit hole of a different event. Throughout the course of all this, it feels like the drug issue dissipates. I hate that it’s there. It does have a bigger plot point, but it’s not needed. They could’ve made the same plot in a different manner. I think the ending is more true life to what might actually happen in similar circumstances, but I really didn’t like it. My dislike of book 3 in the series will not keep me from reading anything else by this author. I have already bought them and plan to read them. But part of me wishes I could go back in time and not read book 3. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

As good as Dead by Holly Jackson
Pip And Ravi are back with a (moral) challange along with solving a crime. Plenty of plot twits and dindn't-see-that-coming moments. Susepsenful, thrilling, though-proviking. A shocking ending to a fantastic series.
Overall I enjoyed As Good As Dead. I highly recommend all three books in this compelling series. I also I look forward to reading her standalone Five Survive .
Holly Jackson is definitley an Author to follow, she has a unigue and intrguiging writing style that I truly enjoyed. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I didn't care for book 2 as much, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into book 3. I thought the first 100 pages could've been condensed into about 25 pages. I understand Pip was messed up from what happened to her, but felt it dragged on a bit. However, once I got to page 100, I couldn't put it down. SPOILER: And then I was confused again when we got halfway through the book and we knew who the killer was. I love how the author didn't drag this on either when she didn't have to. But I had no idea where the rest of this book was going to go. I just love the direction it took and how she was able to pull off a "happy ending" by murdering someone and setting someone else up for it. Well done! I was very impressed and glad that book 3 took on a different approach. Very much enjoyed! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

The perfect end for this series. I loved the way hints from the first two books came back and helped tied everything together. I also loved the shift that happened to make this book unique from its predecessors. I was so engrossed by this book I couldn't put it down until I'd finished it, despite it being midnight and me having to get up early the next day. Overall, a phenomenal series. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

Pip is living with the memory of her last investigation and that Max is not found guilty of rape despite being recorded on tape as proof. As Pip finds ways to cope with her PTSD, albeit not well, she begins receiving anonymous messages asking who will search for her when she disappears and random chalk drawings start to show up on her driveway…stick figures without heads. As she attempts to discover who her stalker is, she figures out the best way to save herself…is to save herself. She begins investigating as she would her podcast. When Pip is kidnapped, everything comes together and she makes a choice that will save her life.
This was a very unexpected ending to Pip's crime solving. It begs the reader to ask if they would be willing to make the hard choice if it meant life or death for themselves. I enjoyed every minute of this roller coaster ride and was so sad when it was over. At 570 pages (paperback version), this extra-large book was imposing looking but the time just flew by when I was reading. I can't wait to read Holly Jackson's next book as I know it will be worth the read. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

As much as I loved this series, this book was just a let down. I loved the concept and even the direction it took. Until halfway through and then it was just off. It felt to me like a desperate attempt to connect all of the dots creating an unnecessary full circle end. I loved the characters so much in the first two. Pip in this one was great, Ravi was great, but there was so much filler that I felt I really lost everything that connected me to the characters to begin with. Also the ending. HORRIBLE! I felt there was not reason for it to end the way it did for the main characters. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

Unlike with the other two books in the series, I predicted the twist almost immediately. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it felt too obvious that when Pip and Ravi didn't predict it they felt very dumb. I also did not enjoy the twist about halfway through. I was too frustrated with Pip and her choices. Overall, I still loved the characters and some of the mystery, but I was too frustrated a lot of the time reading this sequel. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

This book is 3 stars instead of 1 purely because Holly Jackson knows how to write. She knows how to keep a reader engaged in the story. Unfortunately, the overall plot of this book escaped her prowess.
It feels like the “Modern Nancy Drew” statements had gotten to her or something because in this book Pip’s entire character is unhinged. I understand that Pip is experiencing PTSD and insomnia from seeing a man killed in front of her, but in my novels and my love of Pip, I didn’t want to see her turn into a pill-popping, angry murderer.
It seems that we just threw away everything that every reader loved about Pip just to give us an extremely bad example of “justice.” Pip was all about justice and righting wrongs, but now she wasn’t above doing the EXTREMELY WRONG THING to give HER version of justice.
Then she used the people she loved to give her an alibi (something that they were still traumatized by from Andie’s case) and then LEFT them all alone throughout the trial under some false sense of martyrdom.
Pip turned into the monster she was trying to put behind bars in the first and second book and we, as the readers, were expected to be okay with it because it was “justice.”
When I finished this book, I was livid. I loved the other two books so much, and this book seemed to just take everything I loved about the other books and spit in my face. Read the first two, but live forever in mystery about what happens next. Do yourself that favor. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

I thoroughly enjoyed Holly Jackson’s previous two novels featuring Pippa Fitz-Amobi (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Good Girl Bad Blood). Although they were both marketed as being Young Adult fiction, I found that they stood comparison with general crime fiction. They are cleverly formatted, reflecting the podcasts that Pippa ultimately delivers when the stories are resolved.
This third book retains the excitement of its two predecessors, but I felt it worked less well. I wonder whether that was perhaps my fault, for reading it rather too soon after I had finished the other two. Whatever the reasons, I felt that this didn’t engage me as closely as the other two. Pip and her friends are still well drawn characters, and her interactions with friends and foes alike are highly plausible. Unfortunately, I found that the plot itself was weaker, and seemed that little bit too contrived to retain my attention in the way that the other two books had.
It is important to stress that the comments above should not be taken to mean that I didn’t enjoy the book – I certainly did, I just felt that it didn’t quite match up to the rest of the sequence. I will be interested to see whether Holly Jackson persists with Pip as a character, or embarks on some standalone books. Either way, I look forward to reading them. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5

I loved this series. But this last book was a little too much for me. The whole book was just about Pip trying to be a martyr after the fact. She's the golden girl of her town and nothing can touch her, not even the law.. which is kind of the opposite of the point I think the author was trying to make.
