About this audiobook
The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell: I love this book, I generally love Gladwell. Although sometimes it is difficult to grasp the logic with which Gladwell connects different studies and cases around the world to explain and contextualize his ideas, the parallel he draws between the spread of viral diseases and the proliferation of ideas or trends in human societies is remarkable. The analysis of phenomena such as the contagion of suicides, school shootings, or the proliferation of smoking is notable. Learning to identify the spreaders, the context, and the characteristics of a message that can go viral is probably the best takeaway from this book. (Translated from Spanish)
