If you are a fan of romantasy/ fantasy this is not the book for you. I got into the 2nd chapter of this book and DNF. it’s childish, juvenile, etc. As soon as Zagadoth speaks, your eyes will roll in the back of your head. I feel like this is a spoof on fantasy.

Love love LOVED this book! It was a sweet slow burn that was also funny. After reading the romantasy genre for a year and a half now, I've burned out on the repetitive romances that are either too angsty or too insta-love. This story was so refreshing. Can't wait to read more of this duo in the next books! Also, the narrators for this audiobook were TOP NOTCH!!

Hilarious, SLOW burn! I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into with this series, but I'm super happy I gave it a shot. The MCs have such great chemistry, and the sprinkles of flirting held my smut side over. If you like smut and want a SLOW burn, this series is well worth it. :)
