The narrator is great for everything except the male lead’s American voice which was dreadful, both in attempted accent and in the fact that the pitch was exactly the same level as the women’s. Ick. The story was good until the author had to drag them back and forth through an absurd number of misunderstandings and final endings that ended up not being final. Ended up being too ridiculous. I listened to the last 20 minutes at 2.5x speed. I really like the other books in the series so far, though the first was by far the best.
