About this audiobook

THE CANYON OF DEATH. To survive the untamed wilderness a man needs all the friends he can get. No one can battle the continual dangers for long on his own. Even a fearless frontiersman like Nate King needs help now and then and he’s always ready to give it when it’s needed. So when an elderly Shoshone warrior comes to Nate asking for help, Nate agrees to lend a hand – no matter how strange the request may be. The old warrior knows he doesn’t have long to live and he wants to die in the remote canyon where his true love was killed many years before, slain by a giant bear straight out of Shoshone myth. No Shoshone will dare accompany the old warrior, so he and Nate will brave the dreaded canyon alone. And as Nate soon learns the hard way, some legends are far better left undisturbed.

I like the books but I find the piling on of nasty and overly vicious
Scenarios that continue through several areas and into absolutely ludicrous finalisations ridiculous..I would really enjoy them and not have to skipping and skipping to get to a believable secretion..it’s actually boring when the hero/ heroes/ characters in general continually face gruesome tasks, either everyone dies but the ultimate hero from absolutely ridiculously damaging and forceful attacks on the body, yet the ‘hero’ somehow survives these attacks and pressures to airways, every part of the body damaged savagely including head, whereby even the fictitious Ironman or Superman would have a tough time to survive..as a retired nurse I cannot get my head around it. I love certain areas of the book and manage to still enjoy each one to a point, so as the odds of survival from the absurd continual attacks that just keep on coming, I get through the story by skipping through until the miraculously survival of each event occurs..it’s one thing to have one desperate event and escape even badly injured but the same event usually goes on and on and amazes me how much I have to skip through the gory details ..one incident or maybe even two every time the hero is attacked but holy smoke..what is wrong with the author, does he have some sort of psychopathic problem that he/ she unleashes via writing it down..tone it down a bit and readers with adventurous spirits would be able to read the whole thing..my opinion anyway..it’s just over the top..
