Choice appears under the influence of confusion, and without confusion, when seeing clearly, there is not possibility for choice to occur because what appears is obvious. The idea of choice as freedom is the idea that the presence of bias and prejudice brings favorable results. The choice for what is favored comes after deliberation. De-liberation, literally meaning that the appearance of choice is the absence of liberation, or in other words confusion.
