About this audiobook
Missy learned at an early age not to depend on anyone but herself, but then she met George, and she found a friend, and he became her family. George was like a father to her, and she learned that blood isn't what makes you a family; it's there for the person when they need you, and she loves George unconditionally. He loved her like a daughter, but everything changed when an unexpected little brother came into her life. She became a mother to a three-year-old, and her best friend George was there helping and encouraging her that she was a good mom and daughter. Sadly George got sick, and after he passed, Missy grew strong and took control of her life and made a life for herself, Nicky, and a new baby on the way. Missy finds love and the family she was always looking for.
I grew up in the country and loved reading and writing letters to family and friends. I love to read, and I started writing stories about love, romance, and adventure in middle school. I wanted to be a reporter and travel the world, writing about what was happening in the world. My oldest sister Susie who was blind, would encourage me to write and use my imagination for my stories. I am married and have four adult sons and three grandsons. The love I have for my family is what I use to bring my stories alive.
Patricia Bullock
My name is Patty Bullock and I have been happily married to my husband Rodney for 40 years. We have four amazing grown sons but sadly we lost one son last April and it broke our hearts but the love of family and friends have got us through all the good times and bad. Family means everything to me and they are the reason I love to write stories. I have been writing sense I was a teenager, I loved reading and started writing stories about love, romance, and adventure. I have written on and off as I grew up, got married, had kids, and worked full time until I retired several years ago. This is my second book that I have published and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
