This starts out a bit overwhelming but once you get into the story it became really interesting and different, i definitely want to listen to book 2 if such exists. The narrator was great too, even if the accent isn't my favourite, she does a good job.

Very unexpected. A futuristic world where the nieve heroine is intelligent and makes you want to listen to more. I liked the story but thought the ending was a bit dour. Also, was bummed on the overall view of human life and value in society.

Sexy dystopian book. Where one person has a happy ending and you’re like aww… but then millions of others are still suffering, oppressed, starved, raped, and forced to breed. So you wanna be mad for liking it, but you can’t because it was a great book.

You are never sure what you are going to get with a dystopian story, what twist are they going to give you? That is part of the appeal, and this one definitely delivered on it! Each time something new is unveiled, a new and different perspective and understanding is presented. When it came to the end of the story, the final turn just seemed natural, considering all that had come before, and how well we got to know our couple. I loved this story and how the relationship unfolded <3
