About this audiobook
This extraordinary powerful story of Gloria’s journey from darkness into light is one of hope, resilience and the unrelenting power of the human spirit to survive.
It’s June 1960 and in middle-class suburban New Zealand, a child was born into sex slavery. For the first sixteen years of her life, Gloria suffered horrendous sexual, physical and psychological abuse at the hands of her father, with no one to protect her. From the underworld of her father’s paedophile ring to the groups he trafficked her to, she found an inner strength and a light that shone so brightly, her mind was the one thing that could not be destroyed.
Experienced through the eyes of a child, On Angels’ Wings will forever highlight the way we deal with child abuse, shining a light on this darkness, and challenging us not to assume that every child is safe. One voice speaking out is all it takes to save a life.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely stunning! My heart goes out to this incredible woman! She told her story perfectly! It always shocks me how dastardly people cowardly hide behind religion and pretend that they are so righteous and forthright!! They don’t realize how obvious their denial is to the rest of the world?! But not only that, they surely know that love and truth trump all else in the end. So when they go to meet their maker, when deniability is no longer an available option and the real judging begins, how will they reconcile those actions before the lord? That’s why they are on this earth to begin with! To find their way back to the lord and his perfection.
Much love and appreciation to you Gloria for your strength and determination to make something positive of your earlier tragic life and to help to heal others like you. To walk alone through such insanity has got to be so painful and scary!
God bless you and the family that you have managed to cultivate today!
I wish you the very, very best!
