About this audiobook

From USA Today best selling author Rebecca Shea comes a new standalone second chance romance, Fault Lines.

At eleven he was my first crush. At sixteen he became mine. At nineteen he broke my heart and destroyed me. That was ten years ago and the last time I saw Cole Ryan.

They say you never get over your first love...I beg to differ. I left my shattered heart buried in a town I never expected to return to. I erased every thought of him and buried the memories never to be found.

I moved on...now ten years later I have the perfect life, the perfect fiancé, the perfect career. Everything I ever wanted until I'm forced to go back and face my past and the man that destroyed me.

He won't stop until I know the truth no matter how hard I fight it. In the end, lies will be uncovered, hearts will be broken, and my life as I've come to know it destroyed.

Rebecca Shea

What our readers think

Readers find this title to be a beautifully narrated story of second chance romance. It offers a realistic approach to love and relationships, with the right amount of snark, humor, and real-life situations. While some reviewers found the female narrator's portrayal of male voices to be boring and predictable, overall, readers highly recommend Fault Lines for its compelling narrative and satisfying happily ever after.

Fault Line is my first read by Rebecca Shea. It’s more angsty than my typical reads, but I found myself caught up in the story. Overall Fault Lines is a 4.0 for me.

Childhood friends, Frankie and Cole, become lovers and encounter heartbreak over a decade apart because of lies and betrayal. Each believes they’ve made decisions best for the other and tried to leave the other in their past until fate forces them to face each other and ultimately, confess the lies they’ve told. Broken, Frankie and Cole strive to piece a life together in spite of all. Beautifully narrated, I highly recommend Fault Lines.

A more realistic approach to love and relationships. I would highly recommend it, having the right amount of snark, humor and real life all bundled up nicely with a HEA.

1 narration. 2 As a nurse this is complete hogwash. Couldn’t handle it beyond chapter 4.

This story ran in circles and got nowhere. It was predictable and sappy. I love Teddy Hamilton, so I stuck it out for him.
