I love the setting and the times or medieval landscapes. The dialogues are good and occupy much room in the book. At times they seem so “modern” and out of sync with how I imagine men and women of that time talking to each other. Perhaps there was more of an equality between genders on Wales? Perhaps deepening the width and breadth of the characters would add to the tale. I really enjoy this series though as well as the historical notes at the end.
