I haven’t engaged myself in a fantasy novel in a long time. This wonderful series helped kickstart my imagination again!!! I was born in Brooklyn (many years ago) and moved away in my teen years - I closed my eyes and pictured myself traversing those streets at the author’s direction and it was beautiful. I loved the characters - I could identify with them. I will never forget what it was like to be those ages?????

As always, I loved the narration, but everything else??? Not a big fan. Love Izzy and Tee and Juan and Bennie and Robbie but he got paid DUST when he was the one who taught Sierra about Shadowshaping. And Anthony being a good guy, no questions asked??? Ricky outing himself as the spy as simple as breathing???? Nah. Stakes too low. Thank u, next.
