so unexpected events if you go wanting to be surprised, not guessing and hoping for a good ending. i loved it. the eay the characters expressed, the closeness to Carroll’s prose, just exquisite. highly recommend if you are a alice in wonderland’s story fan?

the narrator was wonderful, made the story so enjoyable, I loved their portrayal of each character. also the mad hatter is amazing, I really like him as a character now

Beautifully intricate writing and very true to the original Alice stories in terms of scenes and setting. However it was slow paced and at times the plot felt a little too generic and logical to really have a place in the Wonderland universe. The main character was entirely too ordinary and even felt at times like a second Alice. Still in the whole it was enjoyable and a worthy addition to Mayer's retellings.
