“Black…proves equally adept at urban fantasy and more traditional fairy tales, and her stories often feature the edgy sexuality and angst that have become her trademarks.” —Publishers Weekly

Reviews for The Poison Eaters
40 ratings3 reviews
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Interesting stories, monotone narration. Each story is different, so that keeps you on your toes. Some stories I felt ended sooner than I'd prefer, but that just meant they were interesting enough for me to want to hear more. The narrator reading this audiobook is very lackluster, it's making it hard to keep listening. She's very monotone and doesn't use any emotion in her voice.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Found it be rather dull and boring. Was not a fan
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Each story is the perfect morsel, some leave you feeling quite eerie while others are brimming with love. I had to pause between each story to think it over, and I relished the experience of listening to this collection.
