The Source of Miracles7 Steps to Transforming Your Life Through The Lord's Prayerby Kathleen McGowan How precious and touching I found this 205 page tour guide through the Lord's Prayer. Being raised Catholic I am no stranger to the Lord's Prayer so it was with an excitement and I must admit some apprehension that I opened this blessed messenger. The first thing that hit me between the eyes was the level of disclosure and honesty that the author brings to the table. I was in tears as she brought me through the processes that lead her to writing this book and the miracle of Shane. I was equally impressed by the picture and explanation of the rose with six petals, and how they were tied straight into the prayer. Something else that caught my eye is that this book could have gone many different ways most of them religious, but I didn't even get a hint of it on any level. My over all experience was calming and reassuring and I would recommend this quiet teacher to those wishing to discover the amazing power and majesty behind what we simply call the Lord's Prayer. THE SOURCE OF MIRACLES BY KATHLEEN MCGOWANpresents the significance of THE LORD'S PRAYER in such a unique way. I will always remember the rose with six petals surrounded by labyrinth in the Chartres Cathedral. Each rose petal represents a tenet from The Lord's Prayer. I literally see the rose in the labyrinth whenever I now repeat The Lord's Prayer.After reading Kathleen McGowan's book, I repeat The Lord's Prayer more often. I realize the important of saying, for example, "Our Father." Those two words alone reveal so much about Father God's desired relationship with us. I am looking forward to reading this wonderfully inspiring book again in the future. There are exercises in the book. These exercises bring more enlightenment and are very simple. Kathleen McGowan gives 7 Steps To Transforming Your Life through THE LORD'S PRAYER. The prayer now means more to me than ever in the past. As a matter of fact, I said and thought of these words from the prayer and book while on a hospital visit this week. This is a wonderful addition to my book shelf.

I loved this book. It was prayerful without being preachy and allowed for individual beliefs to a certain extent. Kathleen McGowan uses the Our Father prayer as a meditation and and example of how to live a more thoughtful, kind and loving life on a daily basis. I felt like I was being a better person while I read it. I should probably read it non-stop.This is definintely a great book to give as a gift to pretty much anyone.
