      A suspenseful and fast-paced storytelling that hooks you easily from the beginning with a satisfying twist towards the end. Also, the narrator of this book is amazing. She had given emotions and distinct voices for each character. Such an awesome experience!

      I was on the edge of my seat throughout. This first book shows just how talented Mary Higgins Clark was if this was her debut!

      Not my fav... some of the grammar was bothersome. “Lighted” instead of lit... and then the grown woman talking like a baby? The story was to dark for me.

      Excellent book. I love MHC and this may be one of the best books I’ve read from her so far. Scary, definitely one to keep on the fridge like Joe in Friends did with The Shinning.

      I love January Lavoy as a narrator. This book was good but you can tell it’s from way back lol. Maybe 60’s or 70’s.
