      Best friend's dad romance that really worked. This can be a tough trope to get me to buy into but Garrett really helps Kevin see how amazing he is. He embraced all aspects of Kevin and made him feel wholly accepted. Kevin made Garrett feel loved and needed. They really made each other the best versions of themselves.

      I like this series for staying lighthearted. I found myself laughing out loud several times. Not a bunch of unnecessary angst brought on by miscommunication and stupid choices like so many of the books in this genre. Cute, fun stories.
