About this audiobook

Never Have I Ev . . . Wait, what was the question again?!

What happens when an ill-advised party game makes it obvious I've still got my V-card? Embarrassment. A lot of embarrassment.

Especially when the sexy, older guy at the party who witnessed the whole thing turns out to be someone I have to see every week. Not to mention my best friend's cousin. He's not only straight, but way out of my league.

It's going to be so awkward for both us.

Or awesome . . . if his protective nature and flirty attempts to teach me how to date lead to the kind of tutoring that lives in my fantasies. But how likely is that to happen? I'm not known as the sweet, naïve one among for my friends for nothing.

I'm probably imagining those looks he throws my way. Probably projecting my own want onto his expression. But . . . what if I'm not?

Contains mature themes.

I needed to give this book a second start, and really enjoyed it the second time. Really cute, sweet, and it's set up the next book well. Both of the characters are decently well developed for such a low angst book, and they're pretty good at communication. The ages are weird, I'm just going to assume they're both in their late 20s, it works better that way. Having one of them be 19 is super gross, and they don't act like people that young any way. Making them so young was completely unnecessary.

This book is a cute fluffy nerd jock romcom. What gives the story depth is Evan is a consummate people pleaser who stretches himself too thin trying to make everyone else's lives easier. He does this at the expense of his own dreams. Dawson is wrestling with his own demons and your heart breaks for him. I love that he sees Evan for who he is and one of the first things he does is attempt to make Evan's life easier in all the ways he can. This book is a definite must read.

John Solo always does a great job narrating, but I got bored many times during this book. It could also be shortened as well as there was a lot of filler.
