Reviews for Sharpe’s Fury

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Bernard Cornwall got the last part of this book wrong. I'm a fan of the Sharpe books, but the Battle of Barrosa in the final third saw Sharpe playing a peripheral role, really only joining the final thrust of the fight to settle an old score. Parts one and two were traditional derring do by our favourite rogue and his merry band of misfits. Part three? Disappointing. But it was refreshing to see the woman at the centre of macho foolishness was a femme fatale rather than a damsel in distress.
