Ten years ago, four students lost their lives in the infamous North Tower murders at the elite Carvell College of Arts, forcing Carvell to close its doors.
Now Carvell is reopening, and fearless student Lottie is determined to find out what really happened. But when her roommate, Alice, stumbles upon a sinister soul-splitting ritual hidden in Carvell’s haunted library, the North Tower claims another victim.
Can Lottie uncover the truth before the North Tower strikes again? Can Alice reverse the ritual before her monstrous alter ego consumes her? And can they stop flirting for literally fifteen seconds in order to do this?
Exploring possession and ambition, lust and bloodlust, femininity and violence, The Society of Soulless Girls is perfect for fans of Ace of Spaces, The Secret History and The Inheritance Games.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely wonderful, jt was so funny and the writing was so captivating
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it! It’s dark, atmospheric and absolutely captivating! The slow, tense and mesmerising narrative gripped me from the beginning to end.
Like Jekyll & Hyde, the story is full of mystery, intrigue and macabre but has so much more to offer. The refreshing feminist pov, the slow burn touch of romance, the modern look at philosophy, good vs evil, of mankind’s inherent evil - all within the perfect dark academia setting with great characters.
Move over Stevenson, this is what needs to be on the curriculum next term. - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The first half was fantastic…. Great writing and compelling characters. Until the Salem business. I won’t spoil anything here but as a writer, if you ever wondered if there was a line you shouldn’t cross… this. This is one right here. Especially in a YA book. If a reader is tender-hearted, this isn’t the book for you.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Okay, so I was not sure if I would finish this most of the book. But, I stuck it out because the story is seriously intriguing on so many levels. And in the end, I'm really glad I did, because the wrap up is not only wild, but absolutely redeeming.
Also, not to like spoil this for other people but there is mention of a cat being killed, but either that actually didn't happen, or the cat comes back to life and gets the person back. So, like, I just need other people to be prepared for that because I was not. Animals dying is like my big no, and I ruined a book for a friend because I mentally blocked out an animal being killed and I won't do that ever again lol
