About this audiobook
They say Delia burned herself to death in her stepfather’s shed. They say it was suicide.
But June doesn’t believe it.
June and Delia used to be closer than anything. Best friends in that way that comes before everyone else—before guys, before family. It was like being in love, but more. They had a billion secrets, binding them together like thin silk cords.
But one night a year ago, everything changed. June, Delia, and June’s boyfriend Ryan were just having a little fun. Their good time got out of hand. And in the cold blue light of morning, June knew only this—things would never be the same again.
And now, a year later, Delia is dead. June is certain she was murdered. And she owes it to her to find out the truth…which is far more complicated than she ever could have imagined.
Sexy, dark, and atmospheric, Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls will keep you guessing until the very last page.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a mixed bag. While some appreciate the gripping plot and unexpected twists, others feel disappointed by the strange plot twist and excessive teenage drama. The book is beautifully written, but some find certain characters to be cliché. Overall, it is an absolutely thrilling ride that will stay with readers for years to come, despite its flaws.

What the heck even is this?? I thought I would like this because the synopsis makes it seem like a mystery novel. IT’S NOT! I liked the first part but as soon as it got to the middle where the weird plot twist is it really went downhill.3 people found this helpful

Some of the characters like June seemed cliche. I wish there was more to them. It also shows a bit of a toxic friendship and I did like the twist though!1 person found this helpful

I thought I was going to love this book, and for the most part I did but I hated the plot twist, and it kind of went downhill from there. Beautifully written, though, but definitely a disappointment to me1 person found this helpful

A ripe mess, and it's such a shame, the description makes it sound amazing, as does the title. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5

This book lost me at the plot twist. The beginning starts like a good mystery, then it gets super strange. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

June looks into her past best friends suicide thinking there is no way it could be. Thinking it's murder. Questioning people around her. Finding answers that were not expected.
Shorter book but it grabs your attention holding on for more. Twists and turns. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

•It truly is a book that captivates you. It is very easy to read; from chapter one, you know there is a mystery, and that awakens a seed in the reader to want to discover what is hidden. However, the ending is its weak point, as it is very open and does not answer many questions raised from the beginning of the story. What is worth mentioning is that it describes very well what a toxic person is and a toxic friendship that leads you to ruin. (Translated from Spanish) - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5

This book was so not for me. It is a very quick and easy read but Delia is vile. I think there was good in June but Delia just poisoned her.
I don't believe I am the target audience for this book. However, I hope that teens are not this disturbed. June seems like a decent person. Evan and Ashling might be okay and I think Sebastian wants to be good but Delia is just evil. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5

This was not the book I was expecting. That's not to say I didn't like this book, but rather that I didn't love it the way I had thought I would.
The first half of the book reads like a really intriguing mystery, full of lots of twists and turns. But then the book turns into something else entirely, and that's where it started to lose me. But that first half, and the intrigue of the book in general, kept me turning the pages, and I finished the book in a little over a day.
I can't say I would recommend this read, but I also wouldn't say stay away. It's an interesting book, and Weingarten clearly has potential as a writer.
