About this audiobook
"That's not my sister." Overwhelmed by shock and relief, those are the only words Deven can muster when she is called to identify the body of a suicide victim. A body she was informed was her sister, Kennedy. But as she stares at the lifeless stranger, she's filled with questions: Who is this woman? Why was Deven listed as family? And most important, where is Kennedy? Her intuition tells her just one thing: this can't be a total coincidence.
Desperate to put the pieces together, Deven launches her own investigation. Soon, she finds herself tangled in a web of secrets and lies so twisted that it blurs the lines between fact and fiction. And between the sister she thought she knew and the one who seems to have many hidden, dangerous lives. But only Kennedy would have the answers to increasingly urgent questions. Just one possibility is clear: Kennedy isn't missing. Maybe she just doesn't want to be found. And maybe you can never truly know another person. Even your own sister.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Well I’ll start by saying hated the narrator. She sounded like a robot. Not sure if it was the app or her but I was able to finish.
I didn’t put it together until the very ending right before her sister gave us the run down. I really cannot believe Keith! I feel for Devyn though. I enjoyed the twist and turns. And I’m happy Briana wrapped this book up at the end.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Poorly written and the audio actor read this story with a robotic voice. The twist at the end was good. The premise is good but the writing isn’t.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The plot twist was unexpected and so good. Looking forward to reading more from this Author.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Both Kenndy and Deven didn't have the best mother in my opinion. She was extremely selfish an determined to get what she wanted even if that meant blowing up her family to do so. Despite Kennedy and Deven having different fathers there was no excuse for their mother to be as absent in Kenndys life. An then when her daughters are adults she doesn't seek out Kenndy she doesn't try to mend their relationship or even fully explain to Deven why her sister just never came back, all she cared about was the man!.
As far as April and Erika they spewed darkness. Kennedy was absolutely dealt a terrible hand, an Deven was wrong for making Kennedy believe she was unwanted, it wasn't her fault for being born. Why Deven didn't have all this animosity towards her mom is beyond me, she only gets angry after Kennedy is already dead. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Interesting read. Kept me wondering till the end of the book.
