About this audiobook
Samira Wilder has never had it easy, and when her latest lousy job goes south, things only promise to get harder. Until she unexpectedly meets a man who will change her life forever. Renowned pro golfer Roland Graham is wealthy,
handsome, and caring, and Samira is dazzled. Best of all, he seems to understand her better than anyone ever has. And though their relationship moves a bit fast, when Roland proposes, Samira accepts. She even agrees to relocate to his
secluded Colorado mansion. After all, there’s nothing to keep her in Miami, and the mansion clearly makes him happy. Soon, they are married amid a media firestorm, and Samira can’t wait to make a fresh start—as the second Mrs. Graham …
Samira settles into the mansion, blissfully happy—until she discovers long-hidden journals belonging to Roland’s late wife, Melanie, who died in a tragic accident. With each dusty page, Samira comes to realize that perhaps it was no accident at
all—that perhaps her perfect husband is not as perfect as she thought. Even as her trust in Roland begins to dwindle and a shadow falls over her marriage and she begins to fear for her own life, Samira is determined to uncover the truth of
Melanie’s troubled last days. But even good wives should know that the truth is not always what it seems …

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It started off slow but ended up being so good! I couldn’t stop listening and enjoyed the plot twists. Great read
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great story. Didn’t like the narration though. The voice changes were inconsistent and the speech didn’t sound authentic.
Roland wasn’t perfect but he was a good man. Dylan reminded me of a couple people I know. Once I see you for who you are, I distance myself. Once Roland found out about the affair, he shouldn’t cut ties with Dylan. It’s sad when the people closes to you are the once’s that use and abuse you. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book! Kept my attention. The made crafting a story within a story while fully developing each character seem easy. At the end, left me wanting to know more. Especially, Who did THAT?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Omg !!! I think I have a new favorite author
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it! she did it again!! Amazing!!!on to another great one
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I was surprised.. keep reading . This is a good book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! Great suspense and plot twist… it unfolded beautifully!! Way to go Ms Williams ..
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good narration, although sometimes confusing what part was the journals and what part was the present
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5- eeerrhmm, please tell me there’ll be another book explaining what happened to Dylan, I’m so frustrated by the ending & I kinda miss Tracy’s narrating skills of this book.
What happened? I so confused, I need more.
Oh what a book! - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good book felt like it was dragged out longer than it needed to be but overall I loved it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Enjoyable mystery if a bit complicated. Samira has had a rough life, partly because of her choices, but that all changes when she meets Roland. He introduces her to a world of luxury but his life has its own sad backstory. Can they survive the remainders of their pasts?
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Samira is broke, and her roommate asks her to move out since her boyfriend is moving in. Luckily, Samira has just met and started dating handsome pro golfer Roland Graham. Roland is smitten with Samira, but her brother, Kell, tells her to avoid Roland as he is suspected of killing his first wife, Melanie. Samira doesn't believe it, she wants to trust Roland, but then she finds Melanie's journals, and realizes how twisted things were. This thriller kept me interested up until about 85% into the book, and then things took a turn that I felt was rushed. Otherwise, a good thriller that kept you wondering. However, I did guess the twist about the sisters and what that meant. Pretty obvious to me!
