Minerva Spencer was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She has lived in Canada, the US, Europe, Africa, and Mexico. After receiving her M.A. in Latin American History from The University of Houston she taught American History for five years before going to law school. She was a prosecutor and labor lawyer before purchasing a bed and breakfast in Taos, NM, where she lives with her husband and dozens of rescue animals.

Loved every second of it. Loved both Eva and Godric. I love it when the rest of the family is included in every story
The narrator was very good.
Now on to the next one and the last of the series.

Minerva Spencer is a brilliant author and this book did not disappoint. I never thought from reading Gabriel's story that I would like Lord Thistle but I got to see his side and understand him. He was a likable character I enjoyed and Eva was the best partner for him. Nice book
