About this audiobook

Unlikely allies uniting across the world. Blood feuds that span centuries. A single chance at life.

The world watches the sky with trepidation. The insanity of Xenocide knew no bounds, and all will soon suffer the effects he had planned for a millennium. Though none know what is to come, they all know it isn't going to be easy to survive.

The Master has a plan, one that can give the world at large a way to escape the onrushing desolation. It may be on the bleeding edge of morality and what he needs might prove too difficult to secure, but The Master asks for trust.

Cal and Dale both have their role to play as the world hurtles toward destruction. One needs to bring the races of the world together while the other simply needs to survive. Surrounded by supposed allies, the duo will do all that they can to succeed-but with every new arrival comes rising tensions and faltering trust.

The apocalypse is coming. Will honor or greed stand the test of time?

Really wish I knew why they changed the narrator on the last book. It totally changed the feeling of all the characters.

First time listening to a series where they chained the narrator mid-series, really jarring for me. The new narrator, while not bad, has different interpretations of the characters and how he voiced them, which just killed it for me. Only made it a few chapters before bailing, couldn’t stand the dungeon having like a New Yorker accent - totally pulled me out of the fantasy of the story. Maybe I’ll give the written version a shot.

It took me a while to get used to the old narrator for the story. Im not a fan of the new narrator. I will keep listening to the story bc the last books were awesome. And the Ritualist is even better. But PLEASE keep the narrators the same in the RITUALIST series if possible.

The narrator switching was a terrible idea. Didnt fit the book at all and it was hard to track who was speaking due even after listening to the whole thing.

The Book is still good, but the Narrator doesn't fit. Every women sounds now like a heavy smoking truck driver.

They should have kept the original narrator. The rest of the series was good though!

Good way to end a series and it doesn’t take long to get used to the new narrator; he does a good job

Why in the abyss is there a new narrator on the last book. Book is good otherwise. Nice way to wrap the series up.

I liked the book as much as the previous in that series, but it was wrong to change the narrator. Two stars less for that.

Had to finish the story; but the switch to a much worse narrator really hurt the series.
I'd give the books up to this point a 7/10. This one gets 3/10..
No idea why narrator decided to make Danni sound completely manic 90% of the time. Also is just bad at female voices. Like, get a female partner if you know you're that bad dude.

Change of the narrator has a negative effect on listening. But it's still a good ending to the series.

I really enjoy this story. It is great. The reason for not giving a glowing review is the change of narrator. The new narrator absolutely butchered this last book compared to the original narrator. Still a great book though.

The change in voice actor killed this for me… and all the last book too.
