About this audiobook

I'm coming after Kreedence. I want him to know what it feels like to live in fear. Just as I did for so many years.

Three dragon shifters and a hellhound should be more than enough help. And yet, I'm seeking out allies in all the wrong places: a prince with resources, a deadly king with power, and a mysterious queen who died decades ago.

New secrets will come to light. They'll destroy everything I thought I knew about myself and the world around me.

Our secrets will always haunt us.

Or hunt us.

Contains mature themes.

This one upped the ante from book 1 in terms of action and suspense! I liked seeing more growth between Arlow and her dragons, loved the way they slowly fell in love and became MORE. I enjoyed seeing the MM (it gets better as the series goes on yummmmm ?) and kinda figured about Sin but not exactly how it happened, it was pretty cool though. I liked how this one focused on some training, so Arlow could take down Creedence (was shocked his plot line was wrapped up but happy he got what he deserved). I was wondering who would be the real villain of this story but we will get more in book 3 (yes I totally binge listened and am already on book 5 haha). I won't give stuff away, but I enjoyed seeing some of the characters walls come down, some vulnerability, some feistiness, delicious sexy times, and some added tension haha. I wish we could have gotten more creatures and the background in this book, but I understand why. These are supposed to be long fantasy novels, they are more faster pace plot-wise. Soared through book 2 and went right into book 3. I needed to know more about how Arlow and crew dealt with/handled that big ending. 4-4.5 stars from me for book 2 of the To Tame a Shifter series.

I thought Kelsey improved in this one, in terms of her emotional performances. There was a lot of gut wrenching moments, and I thought she did a great job with that. I also thought her vulnerability with Arlow and more importantly in this one, the guys, was great. 4.5 stars from me in terms of the narration. I thought she did Chaos and Rime moments justice. I think the only reason I couldn't give her 5 stars was Sin's accent. I couldn't tell what it was supposed to be. Sometimes it sounded British, sometimes Aussie. Only critique when it comes to the narration.

These covers are phenomenal, I think this one was my favorite ❤️
