- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Outdated information. Skip through the part where she talks about reading difficulties.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of our children was diagnosed with APD (Auditory Processing Disorder) In 2012. I read a good amount of this book. It was easy to read while being very informative. We then found out that our child probably doesn't have APD... It was very frustrating to be told one thing and then another. We really are not happy with the practitioner that handled that bit of his care. His needs are being met (mostly by us) by the wonderful staff at his school. His grades are great. He loves learning and I love discussing books and television shows with him. I do highly recommend this book for anyone needing to learn about APD. I read so much of this book that I am still going to count it in my reading for the year even though I have chosen not to go ahead and finish it.
