Cindi Madsen does it again. She portrays friendship so well. And this doesn't just involve our friends-to-lovers at hand. But also their group of male friends. You can just feel their camaraderie and it's so fun and sweet to see.
I also loved how there's always a place for sisterhood. Lexie and Addie could've turned one against the other but instead, they become friends. So glad to see we're not turning women against women just because.
As a whole, this was so funny, flirty, and nerdy (as Madsen likes to put it). There's a bit of conflict between our couple but not unnecessary drama. The perfect balance, in my opinion.

This was a cute book, a best friends to lovers book. We meet Tyler who is coming back home after trying it as a big city lawyer and hating it, he wants to come back to all that he misses including and especially his bestie Addison. Addison is so excited that Tyler is coming back but her other really good friend is getting married and she is going to be one of the groomsmen in name only, she will actually be a bridesmaid and going to have to wear a dress something she detest but atleast she is being included since if any of the guys ever have a girlfriend those girl tend to never really want to accept Addie's relationship with them. Tyler can't believe that he seems to be checking out his bestfriend, a tomboy someone who knows all about him and he does not want to rock the boat in that relationship because not only could that mess them up but it could mess up the relationship with all the other guys and they would never forgive him. So even though they tried to avoid their chemistry they eventually give in, but she is offered a job 2 hours away and he doesn't want to hold her back so he breaks her heart, breaking his at the same time and now he has to fix it before the town crucifies him along with their friends..Enjoy!Rcvd and ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions

This was a cute book, a best friends to lovers book. A charming contemporary romance filled with poignant moments of self awareness and changing emotions.Addie has been a tomboy all her life. Her best friends are the four men she grew up with. She plays football, plays poker and generally feels the most comfortable with them. But now that one of the four is getting married, she’ll need to wear a dress and heels to the wedding and take dancing lessons. It’s a new experience for her. But once Tucker catches a glimpse of her legs under a car, he suddenly sees the sexy female instead of his best friend. Excerpt: “You look great,” he said, and it warmed her from the inside out, even though she told herself she’d asked, and he’d simply answered a question. The “you look like you,” he added left her wondering what exactly that meant. Of course she looked like herself. When she caught her reflection in the window of Ford’s truck, she decided that for all Tucker’s talk about not liking having to lie, he was a big fat liar. Cindi Madsen is the queen of feel good books. She writes these amazing characters that I can relate too, and feel for. This is the perfect vacation read, fun, uplifting, sexy and filled with good vibes.This book centers around a man Tucker, who left his small town to practice law at a big city law firm only to find it didn't make him happy. He moves back home and runs into a pair of sexy legs sticking out from under a car that happen to belong to his childhood BFF and one of "the boys". This attraction just can't be, it might ruin their group dynamic, right? Addie, the girl with the legs is a tomboy to the bone. She has some tingly feelings of her own that don't go with the BFF one of the boys history. On top of that one of the boys is getting married and he wants Addie to be a "Groomsman", which is why she was wearing the dress under the car. The struggle is real, trying to stay in the friend zone while the tingles are happening and getting stronger. Fun times, watching them fight not to cross lines, knowing it's inevitable. These two fight a good snarky fight. The other characters in the book all support the story perfectly. Each character's personality was developed and each had their own little moments. The friendship tis group has is so positive and uplifting. Feel good baby ! Yes I ended it with a smile. I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this story! Cindi Madsen is a new to me author & I will be reading more by her. I love her breezy way of writing & conveying emotion without being heavy handed. She managed to perfectly describe their bunch of friends & express the feelings of family that I sensed about them. It really illustrated the guilt they both felt about possibly crossing the line & if it would change the groups dynamics. What I loved the most was the relationship that developed between Lexi & Addison. Lexi started out with the bewilderment & suspicion that most women would have felt. The trust she gave to both Shep & Addison really moved me. It would have been easier to demand that Addison not be part of the wedding. This book was completely about relationships & the emotions they put you through. Addison is the perfect tomboy fitting in with the rest of her gang. She’s just “one of the guys”. She loves the town she lives in & being there for her friends & family. She really loves her career, just not where she works. She’s stuck in a rut in all ways, including dating. Living in a small town limits the number of single eligible men that she is exposed to. Her best friend & conspirator, Tucker, just moved back into town. After law school, he’d taken a job with a big firm & ended up disillusioned & burnt out. After quitting, he moved back & looked at Addison with new eyes. Should he make a move or respect the lines that have always been unconsciously drawn? After what happened between his parents, Tucker didn’t want anything serious until he was in a certain financial status. Doesn’t he know love never strikes when you’re ready for it?
