- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is one of the best westerns I've ever read and I've read many (including most of Louis La'mour and many Zane Grey novels). It has an amazing story line. Well developed characters and multi layered themes about family relationships, American history, ethics, romantic love, etc. Brad Dennison has a voice that is clear and appealing!
